Ancient Writings Across AmericaWho Left Them and Where Did They Come From?
Possibly, in Ancient Times, visitors to America’s eastern shores migrated westward. If so, did they intermarry with the native population?
There are numerous incidents in America of ancient writings, referred to as petroglyphs, which are believed to have been done by Native Americans. These writings are, however, very similar to the ones the Scandinavian King Woden-lithi etched out during his visit to the northeastern portion of America in about 1700 B. C. Early Arabic Writings in the Wild WestFor instance, out West in California and Nevada there are some petroglyphs that include Tifinag writing as well as Kufi, which is early Arabic. Tifinag mainly uses a series of engraved dots, with a few simple symbols tossed in. The alphabet also leaves out most of the vowels but does inserts pictures. It would be interesting to know how Woden-lithi came to know this alphabet as it is a form of writing that was used by the Tuaregs who were a race of Berbers living in the Atlas Mountains in North Africa. Did Woden-lithi travel there also, or did the Tuaregs come visiting Scandinavia? Were Tuaregs visiting America at the same time as Woden-lithi, and in the same place, allowing the king to learn the Tuaregs language? There is evidence that people from Africa did arrived in America back in ancient times but since Woden-lithi was only here for a few months it seems highly unlikely that he could have learned the Tuaregs' language in so short a time. The possibility of these ancient writing being intermixed out west with early and ancient Native American writings makes you wonder how those folks got clear across the country. Did they sail in to the West Coast or, after landing on the East Coast, were they some of the first young men to go west? The whole idea brings up some interesting questions. Did these western traveling folks, if that is the case, get to America before or after Woden-lithi's appearance on the northeastern scene? Perhaps some of his people just sort of wandered off and managed to cross the Great American Plains? In their wanderings did they intermarry, to put it nicely, with the Native Americans?
