This lists some of the 1620 passengers aboard the Mayflower including Mary Allerton Cushman, Remember Allerton, and John Carver.
Mary Allerton Cushman: Cushman, daughter of Isaac and Mary Norris Allerton, was born about 1616 or 1617, and may have been baptized in June of 1616 in Leiden, Holland. In about 1636, in Plymouth, she married Thomas Cushman. The Cushman's had eight children: Thomas, Mary Sarah, Isaac, Elkanah, Fear, Eleazar, and Lydia. Seven of these eight children lived into adulthood and provided their parents with some 50 grandchildren. Mary lived to the age of 83. Upon her death in November of 1699, she was the last surviving passenger of the Mayflower. She had been but four years old at the time of the ship's arrival in the New World. Remember Allerton: This member of the Allerton family was the daughter of Isaac and Mary Norris Allerton. She was born about 1614 in Leiden, Holland. At some point prior to May 1635 she married Moses Maverick. Moses and Remember had seven children: Rebecca, Mary, Abigail, Elizabeth who died young, Samuel, another Elizabeth, and Remember. Remember Allerton Maverick died sometime between 1652 and 1656, and probably in Salem, Massachusetts. After Remember's death her husband Moses Maverick was remarried a few years later to the Widow Eunice (Cole) Roberts. This marriage produced four children: Mary, Moses, Aaron, and Sarah. Maverick had come to Massachusetts about 1630, and perhaps aboard the ship Mary and John. John Carver: The date and place of Carver's birth is unknown. He married his first wife, Marie de Lannoy from L'Escluse near Lille, France, sometime prior to 1609. John was one of the prominent members of the Pilgrims' church in Leiden, Holland. Records show that he and his wife buried an unnamed child there in 1609. Mary, herself, died sometime afterward. Carver wed again sometime around 1616 to Katherine (White) Legatt in Leiden. Katherine was the daughter of Alexander White of Sturton-le-Steeple, Nottinghamshire. Carver and his second wife also buried an unnamed child in Leiden. It is believed that Carver had no proven surviving children. Carver died from an apparent sunstroke in April 1621, in Plymouth. Recommended Reading: Sources: Athearn, Robert G.
