Following the 1959 Cuban Revolution Fidel Castro became that country's dictator. The United States, fearing that Castro would go into communist cahoots with Soviet leader Nikita Khrushchev, instigated an invasion which occurred at a place called Bahia de Cochinos, or The Bay of Pigs.
