I will return later, probably Friday AM to respond to the first part of your question.. but for the moment lets look at the above statement... One leader's response to that - is:

What we must do is to put everyting in perspective.

I've noticed a very familiar method being used in several discussion threads in which I am involved. There is a tendency to shift the focus away from the main points in the issue to tangentals. It happens a lot and not just here in Suite 101.
.
When we talk about the necessity of the government being able to keep secrets and say that the decision to go to war was based on faulty intelligence, we force a shift away from the main issue on which our minds must be focused. Humor me for a bit here.
.
The issue is NOT that we had faulty intelligence; is NOT that the government be allowed to have secrets. The issue is whether or not a purposeful deception was put into effect by President Bush, V.President Cheney, Donald M. Rumsfeld, Dr. Condeleesa Rice, and General Colin Powell. And, furth, whether or not, they had a legal right to carry out that deception. THAT is the issue.

Let us stay focused on that basic issue; for, there is where it can be shown that the people have been snookered. Further, we will be able to see that it is a high crime to carry off such a deception. And, it doesn't matter that some of us were not snookered. What matters is the attempt and the activity.

The issue is whether or not a purposeful deception was put into effect by Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Rice, and Powell. And, furth, whether or not, they had a legal right to carry out that deception. THAT is the issue.

I believe that question is answered with alot of evidence. They are guilty of carrying out deception for the purpose to go to war. I believe they have much more planned than just 9-11, Iraq or Iran. I see this as the beginning death throws of a nation that is fighting for its very survival....

Let us assume that it is an untrue source quote? Lets then ask the question, is it a true statement? I believe it is... So, other than the need to correct the original author, nonetheless, I believe the statement contains a valid truth of fact.

I am willing to accept that the quote may in fact be falsely atrributed to Ceasar... Nonetheless, I believe the quote, no matter who said it, is indeed a factual statement..... as we have witnessed.. and continue to witness...

Lay out your case, prosecutors. Please don't bury me in links. Make the arguments and cite the evidence yourselves.

Prove that the Bush administration lied about the War on Terror, WHY they lied (MOTIVE - that's critical!), and that they orchestrated 9/11.

Let's keep the focus on the War on Terror and 9/11 - not the war in Iraq. While I'm sure that will be referenced, I'm more interested in your case that Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, etc. deliberately orchestrated 9/11 and triggered (or lied about) the "War on Terror" - and why.
